Click on Edit Wordy Phrases to highlight possible wordiness in your text. The tool will check for:
- Hidden Verbs
- Nominalizations
- Legal Phrases
- Clichés
- Business Clichés
- Wordy Phrases
- Overwriting
- Compound Words
- Etc.
Click on the highlight to view the editing advice. Not all highlights mean you need to edit, but rather to pay closer attention to the sentence.
You can download the .txt file of grammar triggers to test the tool. Import the file or copy and paste the contents, then click "Edit Wordy Phrases."
